Riinvest Institute is one of the largest economic research and policy think tanks in Kosovo, with over 30 years of experience in research and advocacy that promote economic reforms, development policies, and a business environment conducive to free private initiative.
EFI-Supported Initiatives in Kosovo
Key joint projects with EFI include the Economics Olympiad and the Journalist Financial and Economic Literacy Program, organized annually to strengthen the quality of economic reporting in the region. Riinvest Institute is one of the implementing partners of EFI’s Teacher Training Program in Kosovo.
Supporting students in the Economics Olympiad
Riinvest Institute has supported the Economics Olympiad in Kosovo since 2023, engaging secondary schools through school and national rounds and preparing top students to represent Kosovo at the international final in Ancient Olympia.
Teacher Training Program
Through the Teacher Training Program, Riinvest Institute supports economics educators in Kosovo by strengthening teaching methods and promoting interactive, classroom-ready learning aligned with EFI resources. Each summer, three cohorts are trained; 48 teachers participated in the first year, followed by 99 teachers in 2025.
Journalism & Financial Literacy Academy
Through annual journalists’ workshops (since 2023), Riinvest Institute strengthens financial and economic reporting by equipping media professionals with practical economic knowledge, data interpretation skills, and tools to improve the quality and accuracy of public economic discourse. The workshops have since evolved into an Academy format, which was first introduced in 2026.
