The Center for Behavioral Decisions (CBD) – our partner in Armenia
The Center for Behavioral Decisions (CBD), through its educational unit the School for Economic Decisions (SED), is dedicated to enhancing economic and financial literacy among young people in Armenia. It seeks to foster creative and evidence-based decision-making skills in those interested in policymaking and entrepreneurship, equipping individuals with tools necessary for making strategic and rational choices in everyday life.

EFI-Supported Initiatives in Armenia
EFI and SED jointly advance practical economic literacy in Armenia through education, competitions, and professional capacity-building initiatives.
Supporting Students through the Tatevatsi Economics Olympiad
The Tatevatsi Economics Olympiad is a three-stage competition for high school students that emphasizes real-world economic problem-solving, strategic thinking, and applied decision-making, moving beyond rote learning toward skills relevant for future academic and career paths.
Specialized Training for Journalists and Professionals
SED conducts specialized training for journalists and professional groups, strengthening their ability to interpret economic data accurately, report responsibly on economic issues, and communicate complex economic concepts clearly to the public.
Building Long-Term Educational Partnerships
With EFI’s support, SED builds sustainable collaboration networks across schools, universities, and institutions, creating pathways for future initiatives such as teacher training programs, ambassador schools, and expanded educator engagement nationwide.
