Kesiah Nuttall-Crola

President & CEO of EFI

Kesiah leads the Economic Fundamentals Initiative as President and CEO, overseeing the organization’s strategy, growth, and impact. She works closely with donors and partners to strengthen support for EFI’s mission and expand its programs. After more than 20 years in the corporate sector and management consultancy, she transitioned into the nonprofit sector.

Sabina Potter

Marketing & PR Director

Sabina has 20+ years’ experience in the non-profit and private sectors across media, telecoms, education, and communications. Passionate about storytelling, accessibility, and fostering a growth mindset, she builds strong internal cultures and connects people with an organisation’s mission – empowering teams and individuals to learn, adapt, and thrive.


Kateryna Kyrychenko

Partner Relations Director

As Partner Relations Director at EFI, Katya is Ukrainian and leads our country partner network, manages partner grants and reporting, and helps partners deliver sustainable, high-impact initiatives – including the Economics Olympiad, that expand access to economics education.


Argjentë Plakolli

Project Manager – Teacher Training Program

Argjentë is Kosovan, with a wealth of experience in project management, she leads the EFI Teacher Training Program. Building ongoing relationships and developing the program within the context of the regions we work in, Argjentë is committed to growing the impact of this flagship program.


Tatevik Sargsyan

Media Manager

Tatevik, an Armenian, manages EFI’s learning resources, including the Common Sense Economics translation project and Learning Center. She oversees multilingual content development, translation, and localization, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. Working with content providers, translators, and subject experts, she expands EFI’s learning materials to support its educational mission.

Nataliya Appleman

Virtual Office Manager

Nataliya helps to enhance the smooth operations of the EFI core team and its partners through accounting, bookkeeping, event management, and ensuring that we are adhering to financial policies and legislation.


Julia Stavreva

Project Specialist

Julia is a Project Specialist at EFI with a background in public policy research, economic analysis, and program coordination. Before joining, she worked across government, consulting, and international organizations. At EFI, she supports brand and digital strategy, content development, and cross-team coordination.


Giorgi Jalali

Tech Support

Giorgi provides support for our internal IT systems, supports the maintenance and development of the EFI Online Learning Center, and is an integral part of the process to translate Common Sense Economics into accessible online formats.


Michael Jetton

Admin Support

Michael provides the EFI core team with administrative and logistical support in organizing events and workshops across the partner network.
