New Public Lecture Series Sparks Economic Dialogue Among Armenia’s Next Generation

EFI partners in Armenia, the Center for Behavioral Decisions, have launched the Economics Club Public Lecture Series — a new initiative designed to encourage stronger economic thinking and open public discussion.

The first session featured Dr. Gurgen Aslanyan, who shared insights on development economics and what they mean in the context of Armenia today.

The online event brought together 66 students and early-career professionals, reflecting growing interest among young people in exploring economic ideas and the policy challenges shaping their country’s future.

The series will continue throughout the year, offering an accessible space for thoughtful discussion on Armenia’s economic opportunities and challenges.
